Robert Hough

Senior independent non-executive director, age 64

Robert qualified as a solicitor in 1970 and was executive Deputy Chairman of Peel Holdings plc for 15 years until 2002. He was appointed to the board of Provident Financial in February 2007 as a non-executive director. He is a non-executive Deputy Chairman of Peel Holdings (Management) Limited and Chairman of Peel Airports Limited. He is also Chairman of the Northwest Development Agency.
